Perspective Atlanta showcases one designer’s take on the endless possibilities of Sunbrella for indoor and outdoor décor. We see the project through the eyes of Alex Gaston, an interior designer hired by Sunbrella fabrics and Lonny magazine to transform the loft from a jumble of architectural features into a coherent and cohesive space.
In episode 1, viewers meet Alex as he travels from his office in New York, where he is design director for Mark Cunningham Inc., to Atlanta to see the loft for the first time. Excited about the project, he admits the space poses challenges for him: wide open layout, limited square footage, lots of outdoor space. Plus, he’s working in a new city and will need to find new places to shop and workrooms to fabricate draperies and pillows. Is he up to the challenge?
